UBC Wireless Club

IEEE ComSoc is working with the UBC Amateur Radio Society to establish the UBC Wireless Club, a section of ComSoc that deals with various wireless technologies.

There are currently two active student initiated projects of varying complexity that contains a broad base of hardware, software and embedded development. We are also planning to run a licensing course for Amateur Radio in the near future. This would be a great way for students to gain some extra project experience and relavent professional skills.
