Whistler Ski Trip

Hi all,
Here are the details of the trip.
- UPDATE 2: The Greyhound tickets have been purchased. You will either get them on the morning of the 18th when we leave, or you can pick them up when/if you bump into Zanyar in the IEEE office.
- UPDATE: Date: Dec 18th, 19th (Two nights) - IEEE SB will cover the 2 nights of your stay up to $74. If anyone wants to stay longer it’s fine, but you have to pay for the extra night(s)
- Location: Best western Hotel, 4 people per room
- Pay before Nov 14th, to Zanyar
- Let us know before Nov 14th is you’re bringing friends. They should pay you (their friend in IEEE) first and you can they pay all together to Zanyar.
- COST: $40 for transportation + # of lift passesx$65 + nightsx$52 per night
- IEEE will pay for $20 of the transportation and also accommodation up to $74 (only for executives)
- This leave $20 of the transportation cost and 2x$65 of the lift passes = $150.
- If lift tickets were included for what you paid then you will be refunded.

Some questions that a few had:
- How far is the hotel from the grayhound terminal? :Only a few minutes walk!
- Can we have 2 ppl per room? :yes, but add $37 to the cost and let us know by commenting here so we can keep track of how many rooms we should reseve.
- Any kitchens in the hotel rooms? :Sorry, no kitches, but the rooms do have small fridges.
- Check your own name, and see if the details are correct/have to be changed and updated. If so, add a comment.

- Can we pay by cheque? Sorry, we can only take cash.

1. Is there the possibility of having 2 people/room? If so, how much will each have to pay per night?
2. Will there be kitchens/kitchenettes in the hotel rooms for people who want to save some money by cooking instead of eating out every meal? Please confirm ASAP.
3. Can we have the option of buying the Greyhound tickets ourselves for those of us getting on at the Coquitlam bus depot?
4. From google maps, it appears that there is 4.7km between the Whistler Greyhound Depot and our hotel. If this is correct, will we need to organize our own cabs to get to the hotel?
5. For those of us staying 2 nights, can we have the option of not buying a lift pass on the 3rd day?

7. 2 People are interested in knowing if they can goto Whistler and not ski or snowboard. If so, the price that they will pay is only return bus plus the 2 nights of hotel right? ie: 2*37+40=114/person?

We need this information because we are keeping the same rooms, so that we can get around that 3 day minimum rule, which kicks in on the 19th. If it were only the 18th we would have been able to get reservations for only one night, but because we have people staying for more than those nights we have had to devise this work around.

I have few questions to ask:
1. is the lift ticket a peak to peak lift ticket?
2. is it possible to just get the lift tickets but not hotel rooms? (ie. for people who have a place near by whistler)
3. is there limited spots for the trip? i have a lot of friends who are really interested in it. is the registration open till this Friday as long as the money is in at the same time?
4. for people who need rentals, do we just self-rental at whistler?
5. for transportation, where’s the pick up location and the meeting time for it?
6. if we are driving, is there a time that we have to check in? can you provide a map for the driver?

Hi All,
There has been some changes to the plan because we have a lot more people wanting to come than we originally expected. The cost for the accommodations have increased, along with the lift ticket prices, which cannot be offered for the number of people coming. The lift tickets are now going to be managed by the people coming, so it’s up to you to get your lift tickets. Your best bet is to purchase them online or to get the EDGE card, which both provide about a 20% savings.
Please check the new amount that you will be expected to pay in the table at the top of the page.

-Whistler’s group rates are no better than online rates, so it that is why we are leaving it up to people to purchase their tickets.
-All lift tickets are Peak-to-Peak tickets

Have you ever seen anybody end up going completely bald while on Propecia?
Interesting question. Some men start Propecia when they have advanced balding patterns and few start when they have a full head of hair with early miniaturization. Those that started Propecia with a full head of hair (with some miniaturization) are slowing losing hair to some degree, but I do not recall anyone that became completely bald. I suspect that there are patients who will develop a Norwood Class 7 pattern of balding even on the drug, but these are few and far between. This does not mean you are guaranteed to not go bald on Propecia. I suspect I have not followed someone long enough in the last 10+ years to have seen it (or if they became bald, they never followed up with me).

Today is different. Today there is valium. I had a doctors appointment early this morning for some minor issues I’ve been having and they gave me a lose dose valium to relax me for the test (not psych tests as TG may lead you to believe).
